These are the terms of use for the iPhone app from EnviroMetrics LLC. They explain what the app does, where its readings come from, and the rules for using it.
Who we are and agreeing to these terms
We are EnviroMetrics LLC. The app was developed by TygerLabs AI, Inc.
By using the app, you agree to these terms.
What the app is for
The app shows environmental readings for a US address, covering air, land and water. It also gives you indoor steps to improve a home and offers a store of products. The app is free. Nothing can be bought in the app in this release.
The app is for general information and awareness. It isn’t medical, health, legal, safety or professional advice. For decisions where an error could affect health or safety, talk to a qualified professional.
Where the readings come from and their accuracy
The readings come from third parties, including the EPA, the CDC, FEMA, the FCC, the FAA, the US Census Bureau, USGS, NASA, the National Weather Service, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, OpenStreetMap, Open-Meteo, OpenCellID, the USDA Cropland Data Layer served by George Mason University, the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service soil survey, the US Forest Service tree canopy layer served on the federal GeoPlatform, Carnegie Mellon University’s Delphi flu data, IQVIA through pollen.com, and Google (pollen only). Data can be late, incomplete or wrong, and coverage varies by area.
We show readings as we receive them. We don’t guarantee that any reading is current or correct. When a reading is unavailable, the app tells you and doesn’t fill the gap with an estimate.
Your account
You don’t need an account to use the app. If you want one, Sign in with Apple is the only way to sign in.
You’re responsible for activity under your account. You can delete your account at any time in Settings.
Using the app fairly
Don’t misuse the app, scrape it, reverse engineer it, or use it for anything unlawful.
We may suspend access that breaks these terms.
Products you buy elsewhere
Products in the store are sold by other companies on their own websites. We are not the seller.
When you buy something, that company’s terms and policies apply to the purchase. We may earn a commission.
Ownership and your license
The app, its design and its content belong to EnviroMetrics LLC.
We give you a personal, limited, non-transferable license to use the app. The license covers its intended purpose only. You may use it on Apple devices you own or control. Apple’s App Store rules also apply.
Map data credit
Six readings and every address label in the app are built from OpenStreetMap. The six readings are noise and road proximity, the nearest airport, powerlines, cell masts, green cover, and waste or sewage sites.
Map data from OpenStreetMap, copyright OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License. Features that haven’t been mapped yet can’t be shown.
Disclaimers and limits of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, the app is provided as is. It comes with no warranties.
To the fullest extent the law allows, EnviroMetrics LLC is not liable for any loss or harm. This includes harm from using the app or from relying on any reading.
Apple
These terms are the license for an app sold through Apple’s App Store. This agreement is between you and EnviroMetrics LLC. Apple is not a party to it.
Apple has no duty to provide support or maintenance for the app. Apple gives no warranty for the app. To the extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple is not responsible for any claims about the app. This includes product liability claims. It also includes claims that the app fails to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, and consumer protection claims. Apple is not responsible for any intellectual property claims about the app. You confirm you are not in a country under a US government embargo. You confirm you are not on a US prohibited-parties list. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Florida.
Changes
We may update these terms. The updated terms will appear here with a new date.
If you keep using the app after an update, you accept the updated terms.
